Musings on Money, Gold and Society

I cannot say for certain that we are about to experience the greatest wealth transfer in the history of the world, but I feel highly confident that a massive wealth transfer is very close to occurring that will be unlike anything that any of us have ever experienced. What will it be like? That answer is unknowable. So much of life is experiential. Like trying to explain color to a blind man, I do not believe anyone can really understand what is about to happen. Even looking through the eyes of history, one does not know. He can only sense and try to glean information from those who have lived and suffered before him.

One thing is certain. Man does run in circles. Hopefully he is always trending upwards towards a greater understanding of all that is, but the journey is often two steps forward and one step and sometimes even two or three steps backwards on an ever increasingly, challenging journey of discovery.

There is no need to try and rediscover the path. It has been set out plainly before us by all the heroes and fools of history. Well worn and well known. The same path with only different scenery. But the travelers are the same. Once a princess, once a beggar, once on horseback, once in the dirt, hungry. The mysteries are the same. Oneness or solitary existence. Fighting of fleeing. Peace or War. Wealth or Poverty.

If man does run in circles, and I believe he does, then I must believe that a circle is about to meets its origin and something old is about to be born again, a closing or turning is about to occur.

Those who had studied themselves and the lives they live will understand that chaos quite often precedes a new awakening suffused with order and a sense of new awareness.

For a few years now, I have been fascinated by gold. Those of you who know me, know that I purchased my first Krugerrand less than 24 months ago, so I am hardly a gold bug. Intel, Cicso, Apple, Pixar, Nvidia...these were the the "goldmines" that brought me my first wealth. They are all gone now. All sold. Not one have I owned for at least 18 months now. Now it is only gold and silver and gold and silver mines. No oil. No coal. No uranium. Only gold and silver. Only money.

We are living right now in a world of massive confusion, a world where money is made out of thin air and nobody seems to understand that this cannot be done. It is as if a man with a paint brush is painting pictures of food on paper to eat at a banquet and nobody is concerned about the fact that they will not be able to actually eat such things. They keep admiring the pictures, hoping that something magical will happen before the banquet begins to make these lifeless things somehow edible.

The same is true with the U.S. Dollar. The whole thing has become such a massive joke that no one really can understand how massive a joke it is.

We live in a society of scarce resources. This is not bad. This is good. It's what makes us who we are. From an early age, we learn to compete, to challenge others and ourselves to achieve and do better. We learn where we fit in by asking, "What can I do better?" Some play basketball. Some sew. Some play the tuba. Some cause other people to laugh. Some create. Some destroy. But all have a place, and the place marker to a great extent is money. It is the only way we have to practically answer the question, "What are my skills worth to society?" or "what can I do better than anyone else?"

The best baseball team is the one that wins the most games, not the one that I say is great or you say is great. The best salesman is the one that sells the most, not the one with the nicest tie or the golden earring. We live in a society of measures. Weights and measures, and in order for that society to move on and grow, to continue the circle and progress upwards, those weights and measures must be honest. This is very, very important to understand.

The God of the Bible does not abhor dishonest weights and measures just to be grumpy. He abhors them because their use cripples us, makes us less human, less able to achieve.

We are all weak. This is why we need to look out for each other, watch each other carefully and stay on the course towards something more complete, something better. If given the chance to cheat, most will. For this reason there must be incorruptible components of everyday existence that keep us honest, and force us back to a sane place when insanity rules.

Real money, incorruptible money is such a force in the universe and most definitely in our world. There is no escaping its guidance even though its authority may be looked through for relatively long periods of time. Ultimately, what it is reasserts itself, as does spring after winter and before summer. There is no escaping winter in this plane. But there is no escaping spring either, fortunately for us all. And just as one cannot create strength or agility out of nothing, neither can anyone create money.

Many of you have made your decisions about investing in this time based on what you believe. What you need to know is that in a society that once understood about absolutes of right and wrong, of honesty and dishonesty, that has now grown comfortable with relative states of morality, and acceptance of unacceptables, the crude awakening is about to arrive. And it is going to arrive as a new gold standard and the collapse of fiat money.

Millions of people are going to lose their entire life's savings in a very short time, and those who own precious metals and the rights to precious metals are going to be the new masters of the earth, in more ways than one.

Everything about who we are, our social structures, our needs and desires to achieve, our prayers, our passions, our building towards greater things. All is based on sound money, having something of worth to measure what we have done and might do. This is what underlies the sacred nature of gold, and why it must occupy an important place in any human society.

Pain exists for a reason even thought we try to escape it. Gravity exists for a reason even though we try to escape it. Our challenges always bring us back to greater suffering and cause us to hit the ground harder when we fall. Gold is no different. No less changeable. It is unbelievable that man cannot see this for as long as gold has existed in human society, that it is here for a very valid and important reason.

Those who understand this now, really have nothing to fear. Those who don't need not concern themselves. They have been doomed for a long time, building their endings into their stories long before now.

Some of you reading this are infants. Some are men. Some are lost completely. I am telling you now exactly what is going to happen. When it does happen, those who understand now will understand better then. Those who do not understand now, will probably still not understand then. Those who know me, know that I may be defeated at times, but that I do not lose the important battles. I win; and I will win here.

This thing has become obvious to me. I'd encourage you all to think about it. This is not about making money. It is about something much, much bigger. A turning, a change, an understanding of a new and different place. It is in your minds, not out past you. You control it. See you on the other side. Bull
