The future moves closer

This is how the endgame of the U.S. dollar starts....

Last Thursday, an $30 billion auction in five-year notes failed to stir the interest of traditional primary dealers. The auction itself was saved by an anonymous “indirect” bid.

Gee... I wonder who that indirect bid was? Who could be so stupid as to buy treasuries at this point in time when they have obviously no place to go but down (higher interest rates and lower prices) in the long term?

The reason the "primary dealers" didn't buy was because they knew they would be stuck with them, no one else would take them off their hands.

People go to the toilet to "ease" themselves. When governments go to "quantitative easing" it is the equivalent of pushing your intestines out your anus. It is not long before it is "game over."
