There is a certain amount of wealth out there, but it cannot exist independently of some carrying vehicle: Stocks, Land, Gold, Dollars, Yen. It has to be "located" somewhere. Where will it go? The Dow is crashing. Everyone is fleeing into dollars, from one burning building to the next burning building. What happens when they start realizing that dollars aren't money? They aren't safe anymore? They are "dying"? Where will all that wealth go? Tech stocks? Financials? Real Estate? Foreign Stocks? (Holy cow foreign stock exchanges are getting crushed worse than we are!) There is no place for it to go but into gold and silver!

Wealth without a vehicle has no meaning. It is a spirit without a body. What body will it go into? It must be gold and silver. It has always been thus after wealth's undisciplined romps. There is no other place to go. It is wealth's return home. Like the story of the Prodigal Son, the wealth of our nation has been out and about, spending itself on lewd and lascivious living and developing unhealthy habits, but now it has no choice but to come home and, for a time, give up its profligate ways. I just don't know where else it can go right now. All other doors are just closed too tightly. Bull
