Humble Observations/Thought... On Kimber

Hello All,

You will note from my profile, that although I have been a member since March, I have yet to post. In fact I have never posted on a Forum like this. I guess that makes me a closet blogger. Honestly, I have only one purpose for a forum like this, and that is to observe the free exchange of valid information and opinion, particulary in as much as it pertains to my investment in Kimber Resources. Sites like this one are rare. I have perused the others from time to time, and useful information is either; hard to find, or overshadowed with so much basher bunk that it is simply not worth my while. This site is different. This forum is different. I guess what I am getting at, is that over the course of the last couple of days, it is starting to morph into something that is not so different. That is sad.

Do I think Baires is trying to take over this forum? In a word no. He has been very deliberate and transparent in his posts thus far. He can correct me if I am wrong, but it appears that he is truly contemplating whether he should move some funds from Tyhee into Kimber. I appreciate that discussion as I have considered Tyhee on multiple occasions and each time have decided against it. My reasoning; I give Kimber the advantage for management, byproduct metal, share structure, byproduct metal, business plan, byproduct metal and location....oh yeah, and byproduct metal. This is just my opinion, but I see silver heading for new all time highs, and in relative short order. We some times get fixated on gold, hence the term, 'Gold Fever', that we can often lose sight of everything else. Let's face it, nearly every commodity has crushed through all time highs....except silver. I don't believe this will last. Ted Butler, Eric King, Jim Puplava, James Dines and others, don't believe it will last either. Silver has to increase more than 2 1/2 times just to surpass it's all time high. Then again imagine $100 silver, or a Dinesean $150-$200 silver! That said take a look at the number of resource ounces of silver that Kimber has. This number will be going up per recent drill results it appears. At $50, minus extraction costs, that's @ $2 Billion in silver under the ground, never mind the gold. Put the two together and there is a tremendous amount of value in Kimber. Silver's the sleeper. Junior golds are going to advance as they should, but those with substantial proven silver as well, are going to explode. In fact silver just may be the metal that serves as the catalyst to put this PM bull market into orbit.

As far as geopolitical concerns, where does one draw the line. The windfall profits tax talk in the US is very concerning, and the tree hugging greenies in Canada widely express their disapproval of the mining industry. Whose to say either one of these issues are any less threatening to a mining company than a possible revolution that may or may not happen 4 years from now, in Mexico? I understand the need for preparation and prudence, but the debate on the stability of Mexico at this point, I feel, is simply premature.
