Puplava the Great, And Why Victory Will Come

Now here's a good story: When I was in medical training, there was a doctor I worked under who took his car in to get fixed and left a $200 pair of sunglasses on the dashboard. When he went back to pick up the car, they were gone, and he told the mechanic about it. The mechanic played dumb and said that he couldn't be responsible for lost items, etc. My friend then said, "Let me put it this way. I want those sunglasses back, and I think someone here stole them. They're worth $200, but I'm going to go out and hire a lawyer if I have to, and I don't care if I have to spend $8000, I'm going to get those sunglasses back." Guess what, the next day, the guy called him and invited him down to the shop where he handed him a check for $200 for his sunglasses. The point is this: Jim Puplava is independently wealthy. He doesn't need Kimber to get rich. He's already rich. But Kimber is his baby. Not Minefinders, not Tyhee, not Minera-Andes. It's Kimber. He's in a fight to make Kimber into a winner. He's not just fighting the shorts. He's fighting for higher things, for the victory of truth over deception. He's fighting for honor. And he will most likely NOT be defeated. At least I wouldn't bet against him. Jim's time as a young and inexperienced man are done. His sons are grown. He has years behind him, many years through which he has accumulated wisdom and understanding through hard work and study. Now he is at the age where his mental powers are at their greatest, what might perhaps become his age of greatest achievement. He knows that Kimber's success represents a noble cause to fight for. He's already on the field of battle, and he's going to do whatever it takes to beat his opponents and to insure that Kimber wins. Is this really about gold anymore? True, gold and junior miners will be the place to be in the times ahead. Eric King is right in pointing out that gold is "where the bull market is right now," and Kimber has a great gold property. But so what? In the words of Sean Boyd at Agnico-Eagle, "Mines are not found. They are made." This doesn't have to do with mining. It has to do with winning. It has to do with Jim Puplava's dignity, his honor, his passion for doing and his ability to win. He's very good at winning . I wouldn't bet against him just as I wouldn't bet against Steve Jobs or Derek Jeter in the clutch. It's just not a smart strategy. Bull
