Frank Smeenk and Bruce Hodgman's KWG Resources Inc. (KWG), unchanged at two cents on 1.67 million shares has a few more days to complete its earn-in on the Koper Lake chromite project in Northern Ontario. Richard Nemis's Bold Ventures Inc. (BOL: $0.05) has agreed to give KWG until midnight Friday to complete the earn-in. It was to have expired at the end of September, by which time KWG had to spend $1.9-million to earn 80 per cent of Bold's interest in the project. It is not clear how close KWG is to achieving the target. In its most recent quarterly report, the company said that exploration activities at Koper "have not progressed in the last year" because of negative market sentiment.
