KWG was halted for longer than a full day at one point a year or two ago, and it wasn't really anything earth-shattering.

I'm not sure that the halt would be associated with Trudeau's press meet. The chances of Trudeau announcing something related to the Ring would be heavily in favor of road funding, which wouldn't halt a single company (Noront would also be halted).

Probably not related to DDI, as that would also be halted.

Odds are more likely that it's news on the patent, FSDI, or Black Horse. News on the patent wouldn't likely be held until after the vote on the supershare proposal, because the supershares shouldn't likely affect patent development.

My guess is that the approval of the supershares has led to moving forward on some sort of financing activity from a major outside entity. This could either affect the progress with the Chinese, or it could be a funding announcement of some sort that could allow for Black Horse arrangements to be fulfilled.

Admittedly, there is also a small chance that they've received a friendly or unsolicited takeover offer. I'd say that the odds of that are still low right now.

So my guess is on FSDI news, Black Horse news, or something new.
