Much has been made/said about the tramsportation study with seemingly only/major focus on the E/W route. But in reality the reason for the enhanced study requested was to include other options.

Low and behold, to my knowledge the N/S route was rarely mentioned if ever mentioned since the request to expand the study and not only is it now included in a nr as an option, the prov Libs, (Gravelle) specifically stated/acknowledged it....

"Gravelle says the provincial government is expecting a study to be complete “very soon” that will inform the decision about whether Noront or KWG’s proposal goes forward. He rejects the notion that provincial small-mindedness has stalled national infrastructure planning"
