Right. Usual confusion. NOT wants to build an east-west road. KWG wants to build a north-south railway. These aren't mutually exclusive, they will run on different routes.
KWG objected to CLF's proposal to build a Private ore-haul road along the precise line surveyed at KWG expense for a rail line. This would have impeded KWG's use of their claims, as the Mining Commissioner ruled.
The most recent decision says the Minister should rule which intended use of this narrow corridor is more in the public interest, in this case a Private Road (for company use) or a railway for use by any payer.
