Message: Mining association satisfied with Feds budget

4th bullet in the Mining Association article says:

"Budget 2015 proposes allocating $23 million over five years from Natural Resources Canada to stimulate the technological innovation needed to separate and develop rare earth elements and chromite."

Sounds like this would cover the natural gas conversion method proposed by KWG. Has anyone heard any comments from KWG on this item? Bet that they have contacted Natural Resource Canada to get a grant for a pilot conversion plant. It does not have to be a full-scaled plant, half-sized would do, i.e. 1/2 of the $25M as indicated by Moe. If Moe really wanted a full-sized one, then Frank could talk to majors like Glencore? Perhaps, Glencore would be interested in applying this innovation elsewhere such as South Africa.

Closer to home, would NOT and its backers be interested in some kind of collaboration wrt to chromite development? A joint venture would make a stronger case for an NatResCan grant application, since it would be for the development of chromite in Canada (RoF).
