Blaming everyone but themselves is a convenient way to hide the fact that it is the responsibility of the province to develop the north......

Just focusing on the time since the RoF was discovered is short sighted and ignores the fact that the province has failed to develop economic opportunities throughout the province for decades.....

Why would we be talking about roads to FN communities now?

Slow and steady infrastructure development in the north over the decades would have led to the discovery and development of many Sudbury's over the years.....

People south of the French River have no idea that most of Canada lies north of that watershed...look at the development in the western provinces.....

But we in Ontario only value the Golden Horeshoe.....at our own peril....classic mypic thinking....

Of course elected politicians have only one overriding priority and objective....getting re-elected......and where are all the votes.....in the hands of southerners who could care less about northern development.....so whats a poor politician to do????

Responsibility for economic development be damed......their only responsibility is to the party and getting re-elected.....

The only time we see (no) Wynne in Sudbury is when she desperately needs to get her hand picked candidate elected ....what a joke....
