There are a few more loose ends that would warrant some additional snooping.

My take (note that I am not a legal expert, hence the discussion below is based on a layman's understanding):

By now CCC/KWG should have done the submission to support its Appeal to CLF Appeal and CLF has 60 days to file its counter-argument. A couple of questions remain.

1. Has CLF/Goncalves decided to file? If it wanted to continue with the case then it has 60 days to complete the submission. If not, then game over for CLF? And what would be the implication for this?

2. In the CLF Appeal (which the court ruled in its favour) the AG, on behalf of the government of Ontario, appeared to present its interpretation of the laws.

In the present CCC Appeal to the Appeal there was some remarks in a post (don't recall which one) that the AG will not appear. Is this a fact. If so, does it mean that the Ontario government does not want to get involved anymore,...Is this good for CCC?
