Harper Government and Province of Ontario to Announce Investment to Promote Econ

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Feb. 27, 2015) - The Honourable Greg Rickford, Canada's Minister of Natural Resources and Minister for the Federal Economic Development Initiative for Northern Ontario (FedNor), and the Honourable Michael Gravelle, Ontario's Minister of Northern Development and Mines, will be at the Prospectors and Developers of Canada (PDAC) convention in Toronto on Sunday, March 1, 2015, to announce government funding to strengthen the economy and create jobs. This announcement will be made in partnership with the First Nations of Webequie, Eabametoong, Neskantaga and Nibinamik.

Ministers Rickford and Gravelle will participate in a photo opportunity and will be available to answer questions from the media following the event.
