Rickford Builds Relations With Asian Markets

Kenora MP Greg Rickford is celebrating his recent trips to Asia.

Rickford was in Japan last week to be a keynote speaker at the Global Liquefied Natural Gas Conference.

Those talks included exporting the product from British Comlumbia.

He also noted that half his time in Japan was spent with his counterparts discussing Canada's forestry industry including Northwestern Ontario.

Rickford is hopeful the talks will lead to more demand of Canada's forestry industry in Japan.

He also discussed forestry during a recent rip to Beijing, China and with his Korean counterparts in Ottawa.
