Agree with the context and logic of your points...very well presented. The one thing in my mind that would move this whole process forward in a heart beat would be a clear, concise, agreement going forward with the FNs. Am of the opinion the price for Cliff's chromite assets is chump change for a major(if there is indeed some behind the scenes) for the potential value of the asset going forward. Buying the assets without clear path to mine it would be ludicrous for any prospective buyer. Get it right is just a smoke screen as you've correctly indicated. Libs don't have the $1Bil and they need Feds to quasi underwrite/co-sign for them to get involved on the ground. Bob Rae, now Howard Hampton, who's next ?? My guess Paul Martin for the Libs as he has consulted/is consulting with Wynne and the Libs already and is part of a team promoting national improvement to FN reserves. Concern is this is getting deeper and deeper into the political malaise which historically causes stagnation.. noise yes.. but progress stagnation. Hate to say it but fear we will have to wait until 2015 before any progress is made...Fed election year.
