Message: Is Ring of Fire Overhyped??

Quite an article to say the least ... it states that the RoF "is even less likely to live up to what some say were always overinflated claims of its potential. Now there's an impressive if not persuasive quote... and who are these people that say or suggest that the potential of the Ring of Fire is overinflated? Was it Cliffs, Noront, KWG... ummmh nope I don't recall... was it a politician, the premier?... again I don't think so... so who said that the claims were overinflated?... uhmmm very interesting.

Would you not think that it would be wise if not responsible reporting to mention and acknowledge these people and their qualifications to bring credibility not only to that statement, but also to the article, or was it just hear say from a bunch of guys spouting off at the local pub over a round of beer?

"It could never be that big" Well everyone is entitled to their opinion but we do know from the reports from the Sibley Basin Group, the grade and the amount of Chromite presently discovered within the Ring... which by the way for some obscure reason wasn't mentioned....

as per http://www.kwgresources.com/_resources/National_Instrument_43-101_Big_Daddy_Chromite_Deposit.pdf

Black Horse 77.9 Million Tonnes at 35.3 % grade

Big Daddy 29.1 Mllion Tonnes at 31.7 % grade

It’s as big as any other mine in the north, which people never talk about.” ".... Really now... now how do you like that tid bit of information.. be honest now... how many of us knew that? .. That all the mines in Northern Ontario are roughly the same size... I didn't... well they say that you're never to old to learn, simply amazing... imagine that eh...

I wonder if someone ever told the Rio Tinto Group that their Bingham County mine could never be that big which by the way has has been in operation since 1906 spans 1900 acres is over a half mile deep and 2.5 miles wide. What about BHP's Australian ore mine at Broken Hill... been in operation since 1885. How about Codelco El teniente ... largest copper mine in the World.. operating since 1905 and as of last year they were hoping to get another 50 years out of the mine... could those mines really have been as big as they originally thought or expected .... I don't think so... in all likelihood they probably all turned out bigger... as we will find with our Chromite deposits within the Ring of Fire
