Message: Re: Mining Weekly: KWG AGM and Infrastructure Plan

- AGM: Looked like it was still the same old/current CLF that would object to anything that KWG has proposed, including the proposed change of jurisdiction. As I understand it, it's more flexible to operate a Fed corporation than a Provincial one, but don't know why CLF would even object to that (for showing it as a great pain for KWG...must be really bad blood between the head guy and Frank after that fallout).

IMO, CLF would gain some flexibility in disposing (if it wants to divest) of the supershares than the penny shares to potential buyers. But again, why objecting?

What Frank is hoping for is that the new management after CLF AGM meeting on 29 July would be more than willing to talk things over for mutual benefits rather than butting heads.

There was some hints by CLF that the current chairman (who owns zero shares, and being blame for his responsibily of losing ~$9B (~85% of the original value of the company) over a short period of time will be gone after the AGM (my reading of "election of a new chairman". While they are at it, may be the CEO and VP Boor should be thown out of the door as well to get some new blood circulating.

Bet that Frank has been texting Casablanca, something like "whatchadoin, wanna get some supershares?", next text message 2 minutes later: "O forgot to mention, wanna drop that Appeal?"

- Infrastructure plan: With a rank of (former) Deputy Minnister Mulder should know a thing or two about financing and sharing of responsibility for a Fed Port Authority.

"The report, authored by Canada's former Deputy Minister of Transport, Nick Mulder, concluded that an authority model similar to the ‘Airport/Port Transportation Authority’ model would be a more effective (underlined mine) model in developing the RoF than a traditional ‘Crown Corporation’ model."
