A poster on another forum got an email reply from a KWG person (Bruce), saying the decision on the appeal will be delayed some time, weeks at least.
Those saying the easement may be granted 'in the public interest' may not realise that no evidence was given to that effect at the original hearing. No new evidence may be introduced during an appeal, only points of law, and an appeal may only be based on a wrong interpretation of law or mistaken application of a law.
However much the govt may wish to help CLF (if they do) they missed the opportunity to do so when they did not declare 'public interest ' at the original hearing.
It is likely that the govt will only act when they have the Deloitte report on the ROF, and of course will need to 'study' this, have commitees and dot all the 'i's.
Time will work in favour of KWG shareholders as interest and awareness builds, and CLF continues its descent towards becoming a penny stock or selling assets cheap for cash.
