Jeffrey Simpson, well respected political columnist for the Globe and Mail writes in his column of May 24th titled "Ontario's none of the above election" ( can read column at jsimpson@globeandmail.com type it in your browser) quite an article as to why none of the 3 leaders running are generating any kind of excitement in the run-up to next week's election. He closes off the article with the following paragraph, "Ontario's domestic raw-material or hydro energy sources are just about tapped out. An important boost could come with exploitation of the RING OF FIRE CHROMITE DEPOSITS. (Capitals mine) in the province's far north, but this project and others will be tied up for years, even decades, by aboriginal claims..
Not sure we want to read his closing remarks but at least article shows we are on the radar and more than politicians are talking about our chromite. Let's hope that the Leader's debate brings good mention about the ROF, especially about our ONTC proposal, and a party wins who will finally make this happen and for God's sake do not utter the phrase "we have got to do this right" one more time! rj
