Message: Pipeline, perhaps.

Frank Smeenk mentioned the possibility of using a pipeline to ship KWG ore from the ROF, if no rail is built in a reasonable time frame. After all, we have the right of way, he said.

He said an east-west road might be a good start, but wouldn't be the most economical means of moving bulk minerals out of the area.

A railway, in particular with the Ontario Northland T. C. is his preferred option, allowing all to ship at low cost. KWG has laid out a clear plan for sharing control & the benefits of this with all regional stakeholders. Any sensible politician would jump at this - but there I go - an oxymoron. Sorry. No such creature in sight.

But there is a Plan B. Never mind sharing the transport corridor, KWG can go it alone with a pipeline.

With the new smelter technology, I believe I saw it works best with pelletised feedstock, so ore could be crushed quite fine for transport as slurry, then dried and pelletised at the other end of the pipeline, which could be either at a new smelter or at a railhead for further transport.

Another nice fat rabbit you pulled out of your sleeve, Mr. Smeenk. Well done.
