Black Horse deposit has an Inferred Resource Now 85.9 Million Tonnes @ 34.5%
The key phrase:
Divisional Court Justice Thomas Lederer ordered that the Attorney General, on behalf of the Minister of Northern Development and Mines, should be granted leave to address the Divisional Court panel to be convened to hear the Cliffs appeal provided the representations are concluded within a half-hour......(underline mine)
In other words the Government send in their top guns in to say something (presumably something quite crutial to the Appeal, but the AG legal-beagles must be careful, one wrong word and CLF may sue the Ontario Government,... remember the alledged promise by somebody to provide $600M to build the $1.2B private road for CLF) to the Panel. But this release does not say anything about the nature of the intervention (for or against CLF, they may just provide their interpretation of the fine points of the laws governing the use of Crown lands for the benefit of the Panel who will make the decision wrt CLF Appeal. Or could Crown lands be donated to the (Fed) Port Authority which can do wonderful things for the people and the country, improvement of living conditions for remote communities, plus jobs, wealth, and taxes. And this Fed Port Authority wants to build an RR (along with a small public service road) for Northland (with the support of key stakeholders, KWG for the corridor, Glencore for money,...) to operate.
This is like a suspense movie, such as The Silence of the Lambs. So we eat popcorn, drink diet Coke and wait until mid June.
We could end up with a surprise though, before the end of this long movie: CLF could offer to kiss and make up,...and say be my bff again, please KWG. Settlement out-of-court could be a lot cheaper than paying KWG the whole shot for time and leagal costs. They may even try to take a run at KWG to get rid of this thorn in their side. But this for sure would trigger a bidding war for little KWG.
