From the NOT board there is a lot of discussion about the Liberal budget that was leaking out, not sure by whisle blowers (or by design?). The G&M and the Tor Star had articles on it. The Star published a schedule fo various activities, link below.

Scroll down to April 17 to see an entry for the RoF: "Financial commitment to road infrastructure", but there were no details on which road (EW, NS along the RR) and how much money that will be set aside for it).
My guess would be the EW to start with, since it is cheaper, plus NOT wants it (shared funding?) and the several FN communities want it. The Feds may want to chip in as well. This would get the construction of NOT Ni mine going and building of the RR from both ends. The "road" could be build as a combination of the EW road and that displayed on KWG display at PDAC. I am just guessing here. Any better and more concrete info out there?
The RR will be build but a bit later since this is needed for getting the bulky chromite ore out of the RoF (Ni concentrate can be shipped using rail for a fraction of trucking cost). If I were to design this NS corridor I would include a small service road (2 lanes, one up, one down) alongside the RR.
Questions: Why NOT sp is down a bit, and KWG sp is holding up? Why, why, why...
Any one has a pet fly (nano fly) on the walls of some room somewhere at Queen's Park?
