Good news indeed. So Andrea will have her carrot for supporting the budget which will contain the infrastructure money for the Ring as well. I would say at least $1B, since PM Harper's suggestion of matching fund at PDAC is just too good to ignore. Strike when it's hot!

My take is that Premier Wynne's budget will be supported by NDP, and perhaps by the PC as well due to the RoF element (Hudak would want to claim the credit for the matching fund as well...and perhaps go a bit further to say his party has an excellent rapport with the Feds, hence further money would be forthcoming, etc...).

Then Premier will drop her bombshell by calling a snap election...(surprise), gambling on the popularity of the elements in the budget with the voters in both Southern (insurance reduction) and Northern Ontario (RoF).
