The article was (apparently) quoting Fideli for saying: "Fedeli says a perfect example of Liberal doublespeak on the Ring of Fire is the court action launched by the Ministry of the Attorney General this week to appeal a mining commission ruling."

I am not sure the above was a correct interpretation of the AG's action..."Ministry of the Attorney General Seeks Leave to Intervene in Cliffs Appeal of Mining and Lands Commissioner Decision."

To intervene in the CLF Appeal is not the same as Appeal the Commission ruling.

The AG's argument could be to say that CLF Appeal has no merit, due to the lack of public interest component (a private road for the benefit of CLF alone. In addition, the AG may come out with a support of the Commission decision which was based on the "law of the land" (Mining Act).
