"Frank Smeenk's KWG Resources Inc. (KWG), unchanged at 4.5 cents on 667,000 shares, will pay $2-million for another drill program on the Black Horse chromite project in northern Ontario. KWG is earning an 80-per-cent interest in the project from Richard Nemis's Bold Ventures Inc. (BOL: $0.065). KWG says Black Horse hosts 46.5 million tonnes inferred at 38.8 per cent chromium oxide, although Mr. Nemis promptly harrumphed that Bold had nothing to do with the estimate, adding the study was "preliminary in nature." Presumably the new drilling will resolve the disagreement. As well, some of the new holes will test a down-dip extension of the resource."
