LB,
Your post says: "Interestingly, Noront let twenty mining claims lapse after the Crown's Order No. W-TB-172/11 on January 17, 2012 which had broke CCC's NS RR corridor mining claims. However, subsequently the MNR allowed CCC to re-stake the break (e.g. 4245213), which was accepted on April 5, 2013."
Are those claims around and including Koper Lake, covering the so-called "staging area", just underneath FNC claims? If so, I recall a story about the re-staking of the claims. It was supposed to be a race between NOT and the KWG... and KWG team came out ahead. Apparently, rumours say KWG team started before the crack of dawn, operating just like a pre-dawn raid of a SEAL team, with helicopter support of course. They completed the re-staking while the NOT team was just starting to have the first sips of their morning coffee at a local gathering. Intriguing.
But perhaps, all this was just an alabi for NOT to let KWG close that gap, without being blamed, e.g. by CLF, for "taking it easy on" KWG (could be read: "giving it away to"). Geeeez, the game that people play.
