That a good map!
So, there is a winter connection to Webequie from a junction about 70km NW of Pickle Lake to Webequie (green). From Piclke Lake to that junction, the road is all weather road (purple). I presume that the road system on this map is administered by the province, hence it would be expected that this green section heading NW (in an S shape) to Webequie should be available evry year including this year when the ice is stong enough for travel.
So, winter travel to the RoF would need a short section (some 82km) from Webequie Junction to NOT site. The cost to build this short section is probably not expensive.
This winter access info from Pickle Lake to Webequie Junction (and the RoF with the 82km ice road) is consistem with that available on the www.webequie.ca (even though the site does not have a detailed map).
Webequie has an e-mail address info@webequie.ca and a telephone number. Someone may want to give it a try for ifo on this year ice road.
