I am a big Harper fan, but this statement worries me. Perhaps he is just saying that the road vs. rail thing should be sorted out by the Province and then he will roll up his sleeves and solve the funding problem or perhaps move ahead with Frank's great idea of the Port Authority. On the other hand if he is playing politics (i.e. push the Liberal Provincial Govt into a corner) then I will lose some respect for him. The ROF is as important to Canada as are the oil sands and we know that the Feds have been very involved in moving the oil sands forward. The ROF needs support and action from both the Feds and the Province...let's go Tories, prove that you are truly business oriented and Province agnostic.
