Black Horse deposit has an Inferred Resource Now 85.9 Million Tonnes @ 34.5%
The spin is concerning...these quotes...
1) "the company is about to pull out of Ontario because of the mess this government has made of the Ring of Fire development plans.”
2) "if the company doesn’t have a transportation route, they don’t have a project., These are jobs waiting to be unlocked, put in jeopardy by your bungling of this file. What are you doing to ensure access to the Ring of Fire?”
3) "Some of the issues currently facing the Ring of Fire include a decision by Ontario that won’t allow Cliffs Natural Resources access to their chromite site. There remain some areas of confusion over what level of consultation with the First Nations as well."
These statements just demonstrate utter ignorance of the facts. The majority of the public have no idea.....and that is such a shame.
How about this for a spin...
A U.S. company, Cliffs, wants access to land controled by a Canadian company, KWG, to mine a chrome deposit 100% owned by Cliffs, rather than mine a JV chrome deposit 70% owned by Cliffs and 30% owned by KWG.
Because Cliffs refused to develop the JV project, KWG was forced to find another deposit in the area, which was not difficult as there are several major chrome deposits in the area. As a matter of fact, two other Canadian companies, Noront and Probe, also have large chrome deposits in the ROF area.
Rather than buy out the tiny junior KWG or make a deal to mine the JV property first, Cliffs has chosen instead to try to gain access over KWG land through the courts. When this didn't work, they appealed the decision and simultaniously ran a smear campaign against the provincial government in power in retaliation for the unfavorable ruling by the provincial authority.
They acheived this through the Canadian media.
