Not necessarily. If the KWG transportation route doesn't have enough room to share space for a road and a rail, how are they going to fit both railroad tracks and transmission lines? The power lines can't run directly over the tracks the whole way. I'm sure that transmission towers can probably be anchored in muskeg, but that would presumably be a lot more difficult and costly than anchoring them in stable land. I don't recall anyone bringing this topic up in the past. I wonder what kind of logistical issues would be involved.
