It is not at all uncommon for a party to file the appeal writ on the very last day!

It would surprise many if Cliffs does not protect their rights by filing the appeal, which may be easily withdrawn later if an agreement is reached or another way to resolve the matter is found... But we'll see in a couple of days! GLTA.
