"The Harper Govt gets it" They get the importance of the minerals in the ROF. Do they get that development can and should proceed without CLF? Maybe. The Cons have a penchant for favouring large companies over small, of avoiding co-operation with unions (as in the employees of Ontario Northland, and the Port Authority initiative) and of changing legislation where it suits their objectives to do so.
In my personal opinion, we KWG shareholders should not hold our breath in expectation of a government initiative favourable to our interests. An interest by another large steel company or miner is what we need now.
Possibly one of the Canadian Rail companies, though they move as slowly as any government.
There will probably be an east-west road before the north-south route is running. Perhaps a winter road first, even this winter, and this could be a Noront project.
Everything my personal opinion only.
I still wonder if there might be some worthwhile amount of PGMs in amongst the chromite - NOT has some - assays for these are expensive.
