Black Horse deposit has an Inferred Resource Now 85.9 Million Tonnes @ 34.5%
One video and one article of interest...
First is the BNN interview with Bill Boor talking about the announcement. He mentions that Cliffs is planning two lines of business: one that requires processing, which would be Thor at the lower grade and then mentions another direct ship line of business, which surely means Daddy with the higher grade.

I know many are worrying about developing Thor first and leaving KWG to die on the vine until Cliffs turns their attention to Daddy and we enjoy some of the benefits of our 30%. But if Cliffs pursues two concurrent lines of business, then we could see Daddy mined sooner than we think. This also makes sense given the map that Carrabba showed at the Thunder Bay luncheon - the map showed the proposed mine site with the main buildings and stockpile directly south of the Thor deposit but also with Daddy directly to the west. The site plan also includes a series of roads (clearly marked "Roads") servicing various buildings on the site and the airstrip, but a larger dark line coming into the site which is clearly marked "Site Access"...I am thinking this could mean a road OR railway.
Second media is from the environmental group CPAWS. They mention a more accurate distance of the road (350 kms) and mention the crossing of three major rivers and the direct affect it would have on certain species in certain areas along the route...their press release peaked my interest and I'm wondering if they have access to more specific and detailed information about the route and what is being proposed (rail? road?) and perhaps have been or will shortly be involved for the feasibility studies from an environmental impact perspective. I have reached out to them and I will advise if/when I hear back.
But I mention this media as it more than suggests that a route has been determined, that it was likely part of the Ontario government and Cliffs back office meetings and deal and is likely related to the easement application (which just may be a formailty)...this may be more done than we think.
