Karch, may I add TimH, camping/fishing/hunting/beef jerky supply shops, gas stations, CTires on your list?

The swamp is big, so don't worry about "there will be no sawmp left". In fact, the swamp may become a tourist attraction, there will be opportunities for canoeing (the train would have a special car to carry canoes and kayaks as in the Northland trains to Moosonee), camping, fishing and hunting (they have moose, what about ducks in the swamp?) The list is endless, and all this would help the local business and the FN folks (great guides for fishing and hunting).

The only I would worry about would be the introduction of fiberoptics, cellphone, highspeed internet, and HD flat screen TVs...then there goes transquility.
