That extension comment jumped right out at me and at the time made me think that KWG was buckling to Clf pressures and the drilling release was not coming before April after Clfs got control. RJ had also mentioned KWG IR had aluded to a few issues (thanks RJ). The sp erosion that followed did not help, maybe others were thinking the same or maybe its a head fake to draw out weaker shares. Who knows.
So Marlboro Dog, I agree, they could be simply buckling, but they could also have something large to bargain with. After all we do know the drilling was completed on or very near schedule and lab work would be nearly or done by now. Anyway they have enough info now or will have in the next two weeks to to produce the NR we need to have before the April 1 transition of control. Clfs would know about it, maybe they want to negotiate and that needs time to happen. And if KWG mgmt holds true to their form, they would want/require/demand an agreed legal extension of the transition date to protect our position.
Imo, KWG can and needs to release results by the end of March, unless of course they are granted a legally binding extension by all the partners. Either way we see a NR by the end of March. Hope we are not kept hanging until the last day, that would just be cruel.
