Message: Life without Cliffs

We have all been waiting with eager anticipation for the expected "takeover" from Cliffs but so far, they have not made any attempt, other than being a real pain in refusing us use of the drilling camp by telling us, it would not be safe flying helicopters with the heavy drilling equipment this time of year, etc., etc. Of course we all know this was just a stalling tactic to throw a roadblock in front of us to delay or stop the Winter drilling program which by the way, is ongoing as I write this. What if Cliffs have no plans at this time to do any kind of takeover of KWG? All of us, including KWG management expected or expects Cliffs to do "something" at least before April 1st when we relinquish our Big Daddy development program when our 1 year term expires. Cliffs may be very happy watching our KWG developments, keeping in mind they already own over 19% of KWG, so our gain, is certainly their gain. They may be very happy watching us move forward to enhance the BD and railroad options. We know all ROF players need the RR and if any company or individual thinks there will not be a RR, then they are acting like an ostrich with their head buried in the sand, or this case, muskeg. We expected this play to come to an end with us seeing a quick resolution and moving on to other "opportunities" with, hopefully, our new-found wealth from Cliffs. I wonder if we may have to re-evaluate our thinking and look on KWG as a long term hold. Many exciting developments are just around the corner and we saw last week with the over 21 Mil shares traded in one day, the confidence shown in our Company. I would like to make a small rant here. We witnessed for at least a week, very increased volume of the stock with on average 4 to 5 Mil trading every day and then on Wednesday the big announcement of the core results from Xstrada. This is in my mind, criminal, it is very obvious many people knew in advance of this core result and we small shareholders have to be happy with a small 2 or 3 cent appreciation, while many enlightened (by whom) new purchasers moved very quickly on what was obviously inside information and thus stand to make a much bigger gain because they were able to buy such large amounts on an almost guaranteed situation at .10-.105. This is another example of the buyer beware syndrome of the Canadian Stock Markets and the obvious lack of monitoring or enforcement that should be paramount and allowing us a level playing field and providing information to all at the same time. There, now I feel better!

As I outlined in previous posts, the Provincial Government wants to move this file forward very fast to get all the political capital they can get from the ROF before the Oct. election and we are right in the middle. The only question that begs to be answered, why has our share price remained so low for so long. Different theories have been bandied about but if you go on almost any of the AG sites, you will see disgruntled posters lamenting , what they feel is manipulation. There has to be a reason why we stayed at .10 - .105 so long and thank the Good Lord, we have finally broken free and made a half decent gain this week. With all our irons in the fire, we should, on positive news, keep moving forward and just maybe, we may have to wait a bit longer for that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Ron
