I see many similarities between the FWR and SPQ takeovers. The first thing that strikes me is that these deals were completely thought out well in advance.CLF,with the help of NOT, staged a mock bidding war for FWR.(I'll see your penny and raise you a penny)What did NOT stand to gain from their participation?Mainly they gained the proposed railway which certainly advances the chances of their Ni/Cu/PGM deposits being developed. It didn't cost them a penny,as a matter of fact they made money from the FWR shares that were tendered to them by staunch NOT retail supporters. Now we see a similar scenario whereby KWG and CLF stage a mock competition for control of SPQ but again,CLF prevails as KWG cannot afford to raise the bid again.Neil and gang fold their hands, seemingly content to accept this superior offer from CLF,much the same as Watson and crew did after their valiant and exhausting battle. The outcome was predetermined months ago,IMO,and we can all fight it but in the end we will be forced to accept it.My only question now is what have the authors written as the final chapter of the KWG story.
