The fact that CLF topped up their holdings is no surprise they now have a lot invested in this play. They luv to make deals that alow them the option to retain their position, they have done that many times in the past with other companies and they have the money to fight for what they think are good deals.(this should firm up our belief that KWG is a good deal) Their actions to-date indicate their willingness to allow KWG to proceed with plans and continue to stay the course. BUT I dont think for a moment that KWG management is still in control and has any amo to fight off CLF's. Cliff will buy KWG when the time is right and will pay as little as possible for it (that will still be a lot more then 12c). Cliff only reacted with FWR when someone threatened their position. I think someone else has to make a move before Cliff's becomes more agressive. THis is bound to happen..Probably sooner then later ( Africa is just too volatile ) we can hope.
