European Ferro-chrome price up

In a stock exchange announcement obtained by Steel Business Briefing, Merafe said the European benchmark ferro-chrome price for April-June has been settled at $1.36 per pound. This is an increase of 35% from the first quarter price of $1.01/lb, and it is the highest quarterly benchmark price since Q4 2008.
