Well, the lifting of the "official" blockade is a very positive step. Generally, the Band and Council will not move forward without a clear indication of where the community stands.

That being said, it is a complete possibilty that they may want to present to the general public an image of wanting to move forward, but will do nothing to discourage locals who are still against any resolution.

It is a very high-stakes poker game, and don't kid yourself, they know how to play.
