I guess your question will remain unanswered for a bit yet. Speculating, something to do with listing requirements of the tsx? It does mention something about giving greater liquidity to the stock. I dont know how this would affect an investment firm in regards to trading, maybe it gives them more flexability in managing portfolios? Im only throwing shots in the dark here.
