Chief Financial Officer Laurie Brlas said.
The Freewest purchase would make Cleveland-based Cliffs the only producer and exporter of ferrochrome in North America, she said today at the Bank of America Merrill Lynch Global Industries Conference in New York. Cliffs may take a partner to help finance development of the Canadian chromite deposit, she said.
This is the second news release that I have seen about taking on a Partner.
I wonder?
Does it have to be some company with deep pockets?
I don't think so, think about it, KWG's Subsidiary called CANADA CHROME CORPORATION.
CLIFFS already own about 20% of their shares.
On KWG's new web site it states the following.
Cliffs has chosen KWG as the vehicle to initiate organization of a development plan which includes a 300 mile railroad and a ferro-chrome refinery. KWG has created Canada Chrome Corporation as a wholly-owned subsidiary to be the financing and development arm.
Did you read that last line.....to be the financing and development arm......
For more information, go to the following LINK on Kwg's new site, loads of information.
