are the historic Santa Barbara and San Francisco del Oro silver mines.
According to a Silver Standard digital video presentation, those 2 mines (combined) produced 530 million ounces of silver.
According to Northair`s management, La Cigarra has demonstrated similar silver grades to Santa Barbara and San Francisco thus far.
This does not mean the La Cigarra will be as large as those 2 major mines. However, it does suggest that there is precedence that a significant silver deposit can be found in the area.
Other notes of interest:
* La Cigarra is located on the eastern fringes of a major Mexican gold belt
* 26 km to the southeast of La Cigarra is the city of Parral - the Parral area has had a long successful history with many zinc-lead-copper-gold-silver type mines (there are still a number of toll processing plants still open to business around Parral)
* 35 km to the northeast of Parral (maybe about 40 - 50 km east - northeast of La Cigarra) is a hugely successful J/V exploration property owned by Levon and Valley High. It has Parral type mineralization. Levon and Valley High have a combined market cap of over$260 million. Northair has a market cap of $13 million.
