TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Feb. 24, 2010) - International Nickel Ventures Corporation ("INV Metals" or "Company") (TSX:INV) is pleased to announce that the Board of Directors has approved the change of the Company's name to INV Metals Inc. The Company's shareholders will be requested to ratify the name change at the next annual general meeting to be held prior to June 30, 2010. Shareholders will be notified of the date of the annual general meeting in due course.
Mr. Robert C. Bell stated, "The new name demonstrates the Company's shift from a single commodity focused company to an emerging, diversified mineral resource company with prospective copper and gold exploration properties in the Americas and Africa.
