I'm confused as to how ISM came up with 167m. of 0.26% nickel in their headline. The body of the news release shows the following results:
53m. of 0.24%
50m. of 0.26%
17m. of 0.32%
48m. of 0.24%
The way I work it out it comes to 168m. of 0.2545% nickel. I can see how the length could be off by rounding up, but the 0.26% is a mystery to me. To me it looks like they rounded up to 0.255% and then rounded up again to 0.26%. Is this acceptable mathematics in the mining world? I'm pretty sure it's unacceptable anywhere else. Why not go one step further and round up to 0.3% nickel? What am I missing here? With this in mind, you have to wonder what rounding up/down has taken place in the original 4 intersections.
