The Toronto Stock Exchange, TSX Venture Exchange and Montreal Exchange are all closed today for Family Day, which is celebrated in five provinces, including Ontario and Alberta. However, the Natural Gas Exchange is open today from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. MT.
South of the border, exchanges are closed for Presidents Day. The NYSE and Nasdaq are both down for the day, although the NYSE somewhat anachronistically refers to the holiday as Washington's Birthday. (Rest assured, they are talking about the same holiday.)
