Anyone else noticing that after such a visible effort to follow through with an NCIB in which we saw almost daily, if not weekly, buying or repurchase and cancellation of company shares, we are now seeing nothing lately?
Such an obvious change in "behaviour/direction" has me wondering what's up? Tantallon had mentioned earlier that the effort was simply a gesture made prior to an AGM that basically was there to drum up voting support for current management.
I hope not and I hope we are seeing the lack/absence of NCIB based trading action because of bigger and better events, which may cause the company to restrict or suspend any NCIB activity. I am googling the NCIB looking to see what possible events/activity may restrict or suspend an NCIB.
Or lastly it's simply summer and that "sell in May and go away" theme has set in here bigtime......... Are our staffers off on holidays for the summer?
Could it be cash preservation? Heck I am guessing on anything is possible.
IMHO....and really bored
