Varying degrees of "underwater" when looked at with ISM thrown into the return/performance comparison over two years. I know ISM is not in the same league, but looked at as a mixed portfolio of possible mining investments for joe blo.

I figure two years is a time frame that takes in the bubble at the beginning and the pop in the markets. Notice that in the depths of the SP pop ISM was not hit quite as hard as the other two. Makes me think that there is more "market attention" to the blue chips in these examples ( both upward and downward trends) IMHO
