IMHO Here's a good illustration that may depict, on an intraday basis, panic in the market once a new 52 week low is established intraday. Posting the trades doesn't give it any justice when describing these herd like moves, like a good old graph does.

Panic? Fear? Stop losses? Who knows, but it tends to trigger movement in trading. Some call these events "shake outs".
