As for institutions, up until this point the Langmuir part of the story has been the most advanced stage of the exploration and developement. Up until last May 08 there was no hint of a 43-101 and resource calc in sight. I am of the understanding that the institutions etc will not go near an investment like this resource/exploration play unless there are 43-101's and the various study on the desk to peruse and analyze.

Up until only now or whenever the reports surface, I don't think there has been a sure fire bet here. not for the risk averse institutions and hedge funds. A return to higher risk after a meltdown in both the financial markets and base metal prices has been all but scarce and slow to appear imho.

That said it should be interesting to see what the market reaction should be for our little explorer when they do drop the other shoe and see the results of Micon's near 2 years efforts and drilling guidance.

Check out my next post I am about to make which refers to Xstrata wanting to boost output by 50% etc, keeping the Kidd Creek concentrator going etc. No mention of Montcalm being opened up is there? So where does Kidd Creek get it's feed from? How do they do that with out ore? How do they boost production levels without acquiring more new discovered ores sources. I would say that they are looking to let others do the hardwork and then they move in on the sources around the area. Thats my hope. "Developing new mines" hey I am all for a little partnership and a nice offtake agreement should we decide to become miners and producers. Who knows, there's ore in the ground, what we do with it is anybodys guess. Credit minerals and open pit possibilities should make us quite attractive in the Shaw Dome.
